Mud, water, stones and dust is what you can get at Italian Baja, a dirty mix that can put you in trouble and even out of the game as a participant or as a spectator if you don’t take the right distances. The teams know very well the risks which is why they arrive in Pordenone Fiere with trucks full loaded of spare parts and mechanics ready to solve any kind of problem.
Commissioned by “Fuoristrada Club 4x4” since 1994, then recognize also by FIA, the 400km race takes place in dried up rivers of Meduna, Cellina, Cosa and Tagliamento. No paved roads (except for stage transfer) only Nature dictates the path a few days before the start.
As a FIA competition the crews come from all around the world: Russia, China and Belgium are just some of the countries participating.
